To say this book is good is an understatement. It’s full of heart, humor, and so much vulnerability. It made me feel seen in the deepest way, and I’m not even going through menopause. That’s the thing, this isn’t just a book for women going through that phase of life. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt themselves changing, growing, or stepping into their own.

I laughed, I cried, and binge-read the whole thing in under an hour (that’s how good it was).

Review From Amzon

Jackie definitely hit the nail on the head with perimenopause and sharing her experiences in this humorous memoir! I loved reading and smiling and shaking my head in agreement with SO many of her topics, she really covered everything. I am so glad I’m not alone in this midlife, crazy journey that seemingly, no one warned me about! Jackie’s sense of humor shines through in this book, as well as her love for her family and friends. Her first book was a refreshing, witty read. I loved all her chapters and now I am off to go buy some nice silk pajamas!

I needed this book and now I need silk jammies!

If you are a Gen X girl – READ THIS BOOK! It is like having a heart-to-heart with a really funny close friend. I read it on the beach on Cape Cod and kept stopping to read passages to my siblings and cousins – IT IS THAT RELATABLE! Lately, I’m googling symptoms for ADHD or early on-set dementia and now I’m realizing a lot of women feel the same way. I laughed and cried while reading it because it celebrates friendship, midlife, and all the chaos in between. I love that the author shares excitement for what is still to come in our lives with the people we love most.

I have to be honest I’m not much of a reader. But I couldn’t wait to receive it in the mail. Thank you Jackie for sharing your story & not making me feel alone. As I was reading I could hear your voice which made me laugh even harder. Now that I finished the book. I’m going to give it to my daughter so that she can see I may be normal after all. Lol
