Jackie Vermette is a Gen X author, content creator, and self-proclaimed “midlife storyteller.” Born and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Jackie shares her relatable and humorous take on menopause, friendships, and navigating the chaos of midlife in her debut memoir, Sweet Caroline & Hot Flashes.
When she’s not writing, you’ll find Jackie creating TikTok videos for her growing Gen X community, soaking up beach days, and planning her next getaway. She believes laughter is the ultimate survival tool — especially during midlife — and loves connecting with women who are on this wild ride alongside her.

It’s been a ride, writing this thing. I laughed, I cried, I had a hot flash at least twice while typing. This isn’t a medical book, and it won’t teach you how to age gracefully (unless aging aggressively counts, which it should). It’s a real, raw, and sometimes ridiculous look at what happens when your body decides to play an entirely new tune in the middle of your life.
